It was the one to name itself and it's brother after being given the book of Genesis as a test and also the inspiration for trying to give 'contaminated' flesh to the children since it would sustain itself by cannibalizing it's brother. When everything went south, it had no choice but to satisfy itself with second grade meals, going on the hunt for the children who's blood had been tainted.

With no name and no papers, it's as if Doe never existed before he jumped in front of Ismaele's car. The sorry state he was in and his quick recovery hints at some sinister affair not unlike what happened at the orphanage, but that did not discourage Ange from essentially taking him in. He now lives with them, silent and disoriented but apparently happy with this strange new life.

Troublesome, prone to violent burst of angers and paranoia, Valya was feared by all the children at the orphanage, as his fits of violence spared no one, not even his only friend Ismaele. When he strayed outside of where he was allowed and witnessed unfortunate things, these behavioral issues were the perfect excuse to get him a lobotomy, thus keeping a promising subject both alive and silent. Now, after years of wasting away in an hospital room, he was finally taken to live with Ismaele, but remains in a state of stupor to this day.

Domen (Dom)

Being the son of one of the head scientist behind the experiment at the orphanage, Domen got to spend a lot of time with the other boys without enduring the same torments; he actually found delight in their misery and would often play cruel games with the weaker ones. Despite his father dying and the abuse -but not the research- being exposed, his charm and intellect got him very far in life, hiding his sick and twisted penchants for hunting young men.

Jesse (Jess)

The litter of the runt. Jesse was always the most sensitive and the easiest target, and this tendency followed him well after the fall of the orphanage and into his adult life. Even when he finally had him under his thumb and was ready to take revenge for years of cruel abuse, Domen turned his love starved, obsessive personnality to his avantage and once more made him into his plaything: but in the end, he got too cocky. Jesse's been crashing at Ismaele's after calling him in a panic to help dispose of the body, his depressive state too worrying for Ange to just let him go, much to Ismaele's dismay.
